Viewings are by appointment only. We have appointments available during the week, early evenings and Saturday viewing are available when a wedding is not taking place. Please email for an appointment
You can hold your civil ceremony in The Granary for up to 80 people, or for more intimate weddings a civil ceremony can be held in Oak Cottage holding up to 20 people.
Please note, if you are having a civil ceremony at The Granary, once you have confirmed your date with us you must contact the Lincolnshire Registrar to book the date with them. A separate fee is payable to the Registrar.

The bar takes last orders at 11.45pm closing at 12am.
Guests not staying in the cottages should pre order a Taxi and leave by 12.30am.
The Granary holds 90 people for a wedding breakfast and up to 150 for the evening.
The layout can either be all round tables seating 8, 10 or 12 people up to 90 in total or banqueting style seating around 70 people. We will try to fit in with your prefered seating plan.
We are happy to discuss your requirements for Wedding singers, Bands or a DJ, If you require a PA system this will need to be hired or supplied by your band/DJ.
We provide a licenced and staffed pay bar. We do not allow alcohol brought in from outside as this contravenes our licence. Please contact us to discuss our drinks packages and pricing.
We have a list of recommended caterers who provide a range of options at competitive prices and know how things work at The Granary to help your day run smoothly.
Should you wish for a different catering company there will be a fee of £250 and they will be required to meet certain conditions.
We would require any other caterers to provide a copy of their public liability insurance, proof of registration with their local authority to cater for the public, and a copy of their food hygiene rating. In addition they will need to visit the venue beforehand as our kitchen has limited facilities on site.
Yes, aside from the caterers we have a list of recommended suppliers from florists to photographers and entertainment. These are based on people that have worked well at The Granary in the past but you are not bound to use them.
The Granary Barn has a number of fairy lights around the old beams, back wall and courtyard areas, we are happy to discuss any individual requirements for your speacial day.
Couples are able to use the beautiful gardens of Elms Farm house plus many scenic spots around the farm including our wedding gazebo, wildflower areas and lakes. We have a large area for parking on site with designated disabled spaces for guests. Sorry no caravans, campervans or tents.
We have a No Smoking policy in Granary Barn and our cottages including vapour substitutes; smoking and vaping are permitted in the courtyard, and undercover smoking area.
Sparklers only please. We are keen to protect the environment around us so sadly fireworks and Sky lanterns are not permitted as they can be a danger to our barns, crops and livestock in the area.
Yes you can use candles on the tables so long as they are in a secure holder.
For a weekend package The Granary includes exclusive use of The Granary from Friday 3pm to midday Sunday.
We provide your choice of table layout, white crockery, cutlery, glassware, a wedding post box, pallet. A cake table plus a knife for cutting your cake are available.
For a weekend wedding during the main wedding season we offer exclusive use of our site where nine cottages must be taken alongside The Granary, providing accommodation for up to 38 people in 19 bedrooms.
During March and April we have a few dates available for a full wedding in Granary Barn and you are not required to book all of the cottages. Please email for availability.
Granary Barn has a number of dates available each year for a Civil Ceremony, you can have your Civil Ceremony in Granary Barn, photographs in the barn and gardens before moving to our marquee/Tipi site or to your own marquee/wedding breakfast venue.
Weddings can be very noisey and upsetting for dogs. If you wish for dogs to be part of the Civil Ceremony this is possible if they are then taken home after the photographs. Otherwise sorry no pets are allowed for weddings including guests pets in the cottages.
We allow bio-degradable confetti outside on the grassed areas only. A large grassed area is available for coloured smoke flares for those creative photographs. We are happy to dicuss your requirements. Sorry no confetti or smoke in Granary Barn or the courtyard and cottage areas.
Granary Barn and Elms Farm Cottages are wheelchair friendly and provide accessible facilities for less mobile guests. Please email us if you have any special requirements.
For a weekend wedding we offer you exclusive use of our complete site where our cottages must be booked alongside The Granary. This is due to The Granary being in close proximity to the cottages and to avoid any disturbance for other guests.
During March and April we offer a few dates where you are not required to book all of the cottages, please email for available dates.
Granary Barn is also popular with couples for looking for special place for a Civil Ceremony before moving back home to a marquee/Tipi or village hall for their reception. Email us to see if we have your date available. Use of our honeymoon suite is also included with a Civil Ceremony.
We have a Tipi/marquee site where you do not have to book any cottages, you would use the barn for your Civil Ceremony and then move to the Tipi site
Access to The Granary Barn is available for couples to set up after 1pm on the Friday.
Access to the cottages for your guests is from 3pm on the Friday with departure by midday on the Sunday after your wedding.
